Description
The course will provide comprehensive foundational training for speech language pathologist for diagnosing and managing swallowing disorders through nasoendoscopy. The course provides a path to competency for flexible endoscopic evaluation of swallowing (FEES). Anatomy, physiology, indications/contraindications for FEES, the procedure including equipment, appropriate technique and safety will be provided. This course is for 8 hours of continuing education with ASHA CEUs.
